I thought I could do a full work day and cheer practice. I made it to 1:00pm and the brain fog set in, so bad that I needed to leave a little earlier than usual, since right now I’m not doing full days anyway.

Finding A Therapist Sucks, But I Promise It’s Worth It
Finding a therapist is often the hardest part about therapy itself. I have been in therapy before I came to NYC. I went a few times in high school. I had my breakthrough about my depression in college and had a great therapist from the school’s therapy center. When I graduated and moved back to my hometown, I had a therapist I didn’t really like. Each of these therapists had journeys to find them. Some more difficult than others.

When I explain to others that I came from a “broken home,” I do not speak proudly of it. But I should. It means that two people who were together or married or at one time loved each other, separated. That would be my mother and father. They separated bravely. They separated because they knew that the goal in life is to be happy, and they knew they could not achieve that together.
